There was a talk on " Diet and Autism children. Myths and Realities" by
Dr. Lakshmi Prasanna on wednesday 27th July 2011 at Shraddha.Good number of parents attended and the session was very informative and intercative.

Great News. Children from Shraddha bagged two silvers and one bronze at world Summer games. We are proud of them.

It gives great pleasure to share with you that three students and one coach are on their way to Greece, Athens to participate in world summer games. Let us wish them good luck.
Workshop:
Shankar Foundation is organising a workshop for physiotherapists and occupational therapists on neuro developmental principles with collaboration with Children Spasctic Society Banglore on 11th,12th,13th of Feb. 2011 at Saaburi. The workshop will be very helpful for PT and OT professionls to upgradem themselves to treat cerebral palsy children.
Parents group:
Parents,teachers and students of girls vocationl class visited Zoo. It is very welcoming senario as parents orgnaised this trip as they want to meet each other to discuss about vocational skill development. They assured prinicpal that they will be with the school in any circumastances and in any new avenues. Thank you parents for understanding our pleasures and pressures.
Volunteer from UK:
Mr. Tom Evans from Foxwood School UK has arrived and started working with children. He will be with us for 3 months to establish colloboration between Foxwood and Shraddha.All the teachers are ready to learn new techniques and methods to upgrade themselves. Toms says that he is also equally excited to learn the reading techniques from our teachers.
Assessments and evaluations:
Children at Shraddha are ready to prove themselves in 2nd quarter exams.
we could see "kumkum" on their foreheads as a indication of prayers for the better performances. Children at Saaburi are undergoing assessments along with parents for the project "whole child". The meticulous assessment in prime areas of childhood giving deep insight to us i.e parents and teachers. Children at Sannidhi just back from vacation and settling in daily routine.
Back to school
All the children of three centers will be back to school on 17th, Jan. WE search for the missing feeling in their eyes and we can see that 99 times. It gives sense of belonging and warmth in the heart. Our children can melt anyone with their innocent and most beautiful smiles.
Holidays
The three centers will be closed for pongal holidays from 9th Jan to 17th Jan. 2011. We wish all a happy pongal. Parents can have a great time with kids. This is the best time to observe their enhanced abilities.
Saaburi parents meet:
We had a talk with parents of Saaburi children reg. project "whole child"on 8th Jan.2011 They agreed to be a part of it and given their consent forms. We are planning to start the assessments and intervention planning after pongal holidays.
Visitors:
Lions club of Hyderbad Jubilee hills ladies club members visited the school and donated sewing machine,book rack, chairs and tables on 3rd Jan. 2011
Sports
21 children from diferent levels has been selected are for cricket coaching camp which is going to be held from 4th to 11th of January 2011 at Anatapur. You must be aware that 8 of our children just returned from Simla after paticipating National level sports, Our girls brought bronze medal to Andhra Pradesh while our boys stood at 4th place on all India level.
Quiz
To boost the children's confidence and to assess the understanding levels we have conducted the english quiz competition between G,H,I and NIOS classes on 30th Dec. 2010.To our surprise,we found out many other hidden skills which were not taught by anyone.Keep faith in them they will never disoppoint you.
Christamas Party
We had load and loads joy while celebrating christams party with Bank of America employees, The day was filled with dance, music, gifts,cakes and ofcourse SANTA who brought a smile and excitement on every child's face.

Annual day hangover
We are still taking time to come out of annual day hangover. After hectic practice sessions of music and dance children are settling down into thier regular schedules. But the loud applauses and cheerings are still in our ears and bringing happy smiles on every face.We have lot of lovely comments from local schools and parents who came watch.
Well done to all involved.
